Lyman married ABIGAIL BUTTON in 1795 in Mt. Holly, VT. Her two sisters, Hannah & Sarah, married his two brothers, Amasa & Isaac Dickerman.
Lyman Dickerman died at age 51 years when his wagon slid off a dugway on Sugar Hill Road and turned over. He died within a few hours of head injuries. He is buried with three children: Warren B. Dickerman, Abigail Laviry, and Harrison Dickerman. His wife & six children survived: Isaac, Austin, Amanda, Lyman, Allen, Elliot, and my ancestor, NELSON DICKERMAN.
