He was born the son of Charles & Estella (Burris) Knight on 17 October 1907 at Gutherie county, Iowa.
On 22 December 1928 at Cedar rapids, he was married to Wilma Olinger.
Mr. Knight was employed by the Linn County Maintainance Dept. for 26 years until retiring in 1972. He was a member of the Faith Bible Church of Robins.
Surviving are his wife; 1 son, E. Dean Knight of Robins; 5 grandchildren, Mrs. Gaylen (Kathy) Vance of New Brighton, Minn.' Julie, Carol, Patricia & Kenneth Knight all at home; & 1 sister, Mrs. Lester (Beulah) Webber of Marion.
Services: 1:30 p.m. Friday 4 October 1974 at the Murdoch Chapel in Marion, Iowa.
