Mrs. Anna M. Grittner, 83, of the Chilton Village Nursing Home, widow of Joseph, died at the nursing home December 13, after a short illness.

She was born Nov. 11, 1894 in the town of Rhine, the daughter of Joseph and Magdelena Rieden Seurer. On June 29, 1913, she was married to Mr. Grittner at Chilton. He preceded her in death in May, 1969. The family resided on Route 4, Chilton. Mrs. Grittner was employed in Chilton at the Carnation Co. and then at the Aluminum Specialty Co., until her retirement in 1959.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Cyril (Thelma) Suttner of R. 4, Chilton and Mrs. William (Madelyne) Nadler of R. 1, Chilton; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and a brother, John A. Seurer of Green Bay. Two sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.

The funeral Mass was held Friday in St. Mary Catholic Church, Chilton. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
