HELEN J. BRINDLE, 96, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012. Born Nov. 8, 1915, in Wells County, she was a daughter of the late Lester and Lulu (Schwar tz) Caley. She work-ed as a homemaker and on the family farm. She was a member of Uniontown Church of Christ and their Ladies Aide. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, working in her flower and vegetable garden, and especially baking her wonderful pies. Surviving family include her daughter-in-law, Sandra Brindle of Huntington; granddaughters, Laura (Aaron) Westfall of Liberty Center and Dawn (Faron) Ferrell of Huntington; six great-grandchild ren; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in passing by her husband, Jewel Brindle; and a son, William Brindle. Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Woodburn Children's Christian Home. Burial in Uniontown Cemetery.
