Guettner, John M. age 79 of Kingston,TENNESSEE passed away Wednesday December 6, 2000, at Roane Medical Center in Harriman TENNESSEE. John was a life long faithful member of Union Chapel Baptist Church. He was a long time Roane County farmer. John was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Henry Guettner and Annie Tutterrow Guettner; sisters, Flora Cook, Katherine Barnard and Mildred Guettner; brothers, Claude and George Guettner; Survivors: sisters, Gussie Elliott of Salisbury Maryland, Ruby Robinette and husband Hoyt of Kingston, Mary Rogers of Kingston; sister-in-law, Grace Guettner of Snow Hill Maryland; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1-2 P.M. Saturday at Union Chapel Baptist Church with funeral services to follow at 2 P.M. with Rev. Ronnie Nichols and Rev. Raymond Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Poplar Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Union Chapel Baptist Church Bldg. Fund.
