Cora Lee Little, 89, Pine Ridge Care Center, Elizabethton, Tenn., died Thursday, July 13, 2000, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
Ms. Little was a native of Carter County and the daughter of the late Arthur Ruble "Buck" Little and Lena Madge Hatcher Little. She was also preceded in death by five brothers: Thurman, Paul, Harry, Tillman, and Clarence Little, and a sister, Nannie Renfro.
After attending East Tennessee State Teachers College, Ms. Little taught for 43 years in the Carter County School System. She was awarded a life membership in the Tennessee Congress of Parents and Teachers. She was a member of various national and local educational associations, including the Carter County Teachers Association.
Survivors include two sisters: Myrtle Carver, and Rose Welch, both of Elizabethton, Tenn.; a brother and sister-in-law, Emory Lewis "Jack" and Dorothy Little, Elizabethton, Tenn.; and a sister-in-law, Winona Rader Little, Elizabethton, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews.

LITTLE -- Funeral service for Cora Lee Little, 89, Pine Ridge Health Care Center, Elizabethton, Tenn., who died Thursday, July 13, 2000, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2000, at Valley Forge United Methodist Church. The Revs. Lon Tobin and Gordon Welch, Jr. will officiate.
Music will be under the direction of Linda Baughman, soloist, Judy Little, pianist, and Trilla Little, organist. Graveside service and interment will follow immediately afterwards in the Little Family Cemetery.
