David F. Akers, 89, of Senatobia, Miss., passed away October 31, 2010 at the V.A. Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., Services were held Wednesday, November 3, at Pate-Jones Funeral Home in Senatobia. Burial followed at Looxahoma Crossroads Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughter, Judy Wright of Coolville, Ohio; his son, Ernie Akers of Senatobia; his sisters, Peggy Large and Margaret Lamb both of Tennessee, and Frances Crow of Lexington, Ky.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren
