OBITUARY: Alonzo M. Bridgewater, of Austin, whose illness had been montioned [sic] in these columns during recent weeks, died at his home there Friday of paralysis. He was a native of Lexington township and a most exemplary citizen whose death is deeply regretted by many. He was about 68 years of age [he was 70 or 71 depending on which date is correct] and is survived by three sons and three daughters. Funeral services were held Sunday, with burial at Scaffoldlick beside his first wife, who was a daughter of the late Stephen F. Robbins. THE CHRONICLE, Scottsburg, Indiana, November 1, 1933.
