Austin "June" Chapman Jr., 75, of 2082 Tin Mine Road, died Sept. 27, 2004. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at the funeral home.
A native of Lincoln County, he was retired from the City of Lincolnton in cemetery maintenance and was a former textile employee.
Survivors include wife Shasta Seagle Chapman; one son, Todd Chapman of Lincolnton; two daughters, Tracy Canipe and Jessie Carpenter of Linoclnton,; one sister, Vivalee Seagle of Sherrills Ford,; one brother, Howard Chapman of Arkansas; three half sisters, Mille Ann, Sybil and Janice; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
