Peggy Jo Young Griffith passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the age of 71, at Trinity Mission in Nampa, Idaho.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 24th at the Caldwell Second Ward LDS Chapel, 519 S. 12th Ave in Caldwell. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday September 23rd at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd, Nampa and at the church from 10-10:45 a.m. Monday prior to the services. Interment will follow at Kohlerlawn Cemetery, in Nampa, Idaho.
Peggy was born on January 3, 1941 in Corning, California, to Earl Lee and Marie Swedlund Young. She was the first child born of her family of three. She was raised and educated in Bowmont, Idaho.
Peggy is survived by her children: Dorman Leroy & Lori Griffith of Meridian, Shelly Jo Nalley, of Battle Mtn, NV, Tony & Sandy Bales, of Nampa, Vickie & Nick Kane, of Kansas, Todd & Gloria Griffith, of Caldwell, Dorinna & Bob Adair, of Nampa, Loretta & Joe Hill, of Marsing, Brandy & James Stritesky, of Wilder, Cynthia & Jason Ducot, of Utah; her brother, Jay and wife, Sandy Young; 29 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorman Ray Griffith; parents; brother, Boyd Lee Young; and a son, Johnnie Earl Griffith.
