Sgt. Jason M. Swindle, 24, of Cabot, Ark., died Sept. 20, in Panjwa'l, Afghanistan, of injuries suffered when he encountered enemy, small arms fire. Swindle was assigned to 1st Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, 2nd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Ga.

Jason Michael Swindle, age 24, of Cabot, died September 20, 2012 while serving in the U.S. Army in Afghanistan. He was a 2006 graduate of Cabot High School.
Jason is survived by his wife, Chelsey; son, Paxton Michael and soon to be son, Jason Hunter Daniel; five brothers, his twin, John Daniel, Joey Don, Samuel Jacob, Matthew Ryan, and Jordan Brooks; parents, Jerry and Joyce Swindle of Fort Worth, Texas; paternal grandparents, J.B. and Betty Swindle; gather and mother-in-law, Dan and Becky Blanchard of Beebe. He is preceded in death by his maternal ,randparents; Troy and Opal Brooks.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Beebe.
