The former Viola Markwardt was born at Johnson Creek, Jefferson County, March 22, 1901, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Markwardt.
She was a registered nurse prior to her marriage to Mr. Lindner, May 22, 1934 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Calumetville.
The couple has operated the nearby farm since marriage.
Surviving are her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Edmund H. Dedering (Myrtle), Chilton, Mrs. Daniel Maurer (Myra), Spring Green, Mrs. Daniel Kuester (Ruth), Kiel and Miss Maryy, Mukwanago; seven grandchidren; three brothers, John and Ernest Markwardt, New Holstein, and Edward, R.2, Sheboygan, and a sister Mrs. Edward Patred, Hoquian, Washington.
Services will be in St. Paul's UCC, Calumetvile, of which she was a member. The Rev. Otto Schroeder, pastor, will offiriciate and burial wil be in the church cemetery.
