May Pearl Bergholm, 95, of Duluth, died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006, in the Franciscan Health Center.
May was born in Climax, Minn., to Gust and Thea (Thompson) Peterson.
May was a private person who loved to bake and take care of her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hugo, in 1966; a granddaughter, Carla Neve, and her daughter, Peggy Rhunke, in 2006.
May is survived by a daughter, Bette J. (Roderick) Appleby; and a brother, Walter Peterson, both of Duluth; six grandchildren, Susan, Cindy, Nancy, Julie, Kevin and Kelly; 21 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

MEMORIAL SERVICE:3 p.m. Saturday in the Jarvi-Dowd Funeral home. Inurnment will be at Park hill Cemetery.
