Services Are Held for Forsyth Man

FORSYTH, MT, Dec. 10, --- Special ---- Funeral services were held here Friday foe Eiljah B, Scoles, father of Mrs. Bernie Lee of Billings, who passed away at his home here Friday.

Death occurred after a several days illness from heart disease.

The Last rites were in charge of the Rev. W.C. Smith.

Interment was in the Forsyth Cemetery, Forsyth, MT.

Mr. Scoles was born in Indiana, October 17, 1860, and at the time of his death was past 68 years of age.

He migrated to Wisconsin with his parents during early youth.
There he grew to manhood.

He was married in 1880 to Miss Rachel Lanam, who survives him.

About 12 years ago he came to Montana with his family and settled on Stellar Creek.
During the last few years, he had been making his home in Forsyth.

In addition to his wife, and daughter, Mrs. Lee of Billings, the deceased is survived by three other children, Clark Scoles and Mrs. O.F. Drung of Forsyth, MT., and Mrs. L. P. Taylor of Saskatchewan, Canada.

All the children were present for the funeral.
