He was a member of Big Springs Primitive Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Katherine Carroll Goins; Sisters, Shirley Dyer, Mae McMurray and Ruby Wallace.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years: Susie Ann Goins
