PECK – Ruth Joy, 99, Elton, died June 7, 2018, at home. Born November 17, 1918, in South Fork, daughter of David J. and Mary A. (Brewer) Weaver.

Preceded in death by parents; husband, William H. Peck II, who died April 19, 1979; and brothers, James W., George M., David M., Milton R. and Samuel B. Weaver.

Survived by children, William H. III, married to Anna Mae (Graham), Knox, Pennsylvania; and David M., married to Patricia (Eldridge), Johnstown; grandchildren, Cheryl, Tammy, William IV, and David; step-grandchildren, Wendy and Jeff; 5 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, especially Ruth Weaver with whom she resided.

Ruth was a member of Johnstown First United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star.

Honoring her wishes viewing will be private. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at South Fork First United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Monday, the Reverend Terry Trudgen presiding. Interment, South Fork Cemetery. Arrangements by Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork.
