Last Rites For Newell Philbrick Will be Held Friday


Funeral services will be held for Newell G. Philbrick, who died at a Miles City Hospital Aug. 23, will be held at Beal's Chapel Friday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Richard Price of the Episcopal Church of Hamilton in charge.


Mrs. Fred Palmer and the church quartet will have charge of the music which will include "What a Friend We Have In Jesus," "Some Sweet Day," and "God Be With Me,."


Pallbearers are Joe Harrington, Ed Cook, Frank Levi, Sivert Sand, Dick Roberson and Dick Jenson.


Honorary pallbearers are Henry Bailey, Clyde Anderson, George Bradley, John McKay, J. P. McCuistion, Charles Westphal, Este Howard, John Barovich, Vic East and O. L. Wells.


Newell Gary Philbrick was born June 10, 1869 at St. Albans, Maine, the son of Freeman and Frances Philbrick.


He was married to Myrtle Thomas April 21, 1902 at Sabra, MT.


He is survived by hos widow, a daughter Mrs. George Davidson, a son Dale, one brother, Elias of Fort Fairfield, Maine; two granddaughters and one grandson.
