Salt Lake City - Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, teacher and friend, Mike passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012. Mike was born on June 17, 1946 in Tremonton, a son of Boyd Carl and Melva Jean Thomas Borgstrom.

He graduated from Bear River High School in 1964. He was fascinated by technology and the details behind it – often experimenting with devices as a child and an adult. He also loved to study and unravel gospel doctrine and church history. He served his Lord in the Franco-Belgium Mission and his country in Vietnam. He used his keen intellect and talent with telecommunications to support and teach his beloved family. He loved (and served as on-site tech support for) his sweetheart Glenda, who he married in 1987.

Family will greet friends on Friday, Sept 21st, 6-8pm and on Sat, 10am in the Rose Park LDS 2nd Ward, 760 N. 1200 W., SLC. Funeral services will follow at 11am and interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery, with military honors.
