Mildred Angeline Beaver, 77, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away Monday, September 17, 2012, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

She was born on October 8, 1934, in Halliday, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late Harry Frances and Irene Craig Belyew.

She was united in marriage to John William Beaver on December 21, 1955. He preceded her in death on May 11, 2004.

She was also preceded in death by her great-grandson, Caleb Beaver and brother, Jerry Belyew.

Mildred was a longtime member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Piggott, Arkansas and retired as Secretary of the Piggott Elementary School.

She is survived by five children: John Gregory Beaver and wife Brenda of Gulfport, Mississippi, Paula Marie Nash and husband Richard of Dennard, Arkansas, Larry Neal Beaver of Titusville, Florida, Lorrie Irene Kinard and husband Robert of Hazen, Arkansas, and Lisa Eileen Wallis of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; eleven grandchildren: Owen Beaver, Patrick Beaver, Bridgett Nelson, Melanie Bailey, Mandy Nash, Justin Beaver, Emily Beaver, Trevor Wallis, Derek Wallis, Kelsey Kinard and Karly Kinard; seven great-grandchildren: Jacob Beaver, Owen Beaver, Jr., Austin Beaver, Mason Beaver, Makayla Nelson, Lyra Holliman, and Lexi Holliman; three brothers, Buddy Belyew of Arizonia, Luther Belyew and wife Frances of Florida, and Ed Belyew and wife Toya of Florida; sister: Barbara Buzbee and husband Bert of Florida; sister-in-law, Evanell Turner of Piggott, Arkansas; brother-in-law, James Beaver of Piggott, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were at the Shady Grove Baptist Church of Piggott, Arkansas. Burial was in Piggott Cemetery. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, was in charge o the arrangements.
