Alice J. Bill, 89, formerly of Pocono Summit, died Thursday, July 5, at Pleasant Valley Manor, Hamilton Township where she has been a resident for several years.
Born July 20, 1917 in Pocono Summit, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Jennie Bill and lived in Pocono Summit all of her life.
Prior to retirement she worked at the J.C. Penney Department Store first on Main Street in Stroudsburg and then at the Stroud Mall.
Alice was a lifetime member of the former St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church in Pocono Summit.
She is survived by a niece, Doris Kaminsky, of Lenoir, NC.
