She was born February 11, 1945 in Coral Gables, FL. She moved here in 1980 from Griffin, GA. Mrs. Filer was a homemaker as well as an airline stewardess in the early part of her life.
She is survived by her two sons, Harry Filer Ropp, Robert W. Filer; two daughters, Amy Filer Burke of Ocala, Lee R. Filer of Palm Coast, FL; mother Louise Barton of Ocala; two brothers, Champe F. Barton Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, David Barton of Ocala; and ten grandchildren.
