Graveside services will be 2:30pm Saturday at Moore Cemetery in Chalk Bluff, the Rev. Travis Gibson officiating.
Mrs. Harris as born August 3, 1926 in Riesel, where she was raised and educated. She was a longtime Waco resident and worked at the VA Medical Hospital in the dietary department until 1990. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church.
Mrs. Harris' husband, Homer L. Harris, died April 17, 1968. Her daughter, Joy Beth Harris, died in 1957, and a son, Edwin Ray Harris, died in 1985. A grandson, Edwin Ray Harris Jr., died in 1987.
Survivors include three sons, Gary Harris of Marietta, GA, Carlion Harris and Ronnis Harris, both of Waco; two sisters, Mamie Ruth of Colorado and Zela Mae Lee of LA; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
