A Mass of Christian Burial for Connie Bohrer Klein will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2012, in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, with Rev. Dan O' Connor officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball under the direction of John Kramer & Son. Vistation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at John Kramer & Son. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.

Connie Bohrer Klein, 79, of Alexandria, passed away September 16, 2012, in CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

She was born on February 16, 1933 in Alexandria, LA to Maxie Bohrer and Pennie Louise Bordelon Bohrer.

Connie graduated from Providence High School and worked as a salesperson in several upscale clothing stores in Alexandria, LA. She married Bernard Allen Klein on August 27, 1977, who was a Senior Master Sgt. in the United States Air Force. She and Bernard resided in Alexandria, LA. Connie was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the United States Air Force for unfailing support and understanding of her husband, Bernard Klein's demands of service from the Air Force.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Allen Klein; her son from a previous marriage, Johnny Caesar; stepson, Michael Klein; her parents, Maxie Bohrer and Pennie Louise Bordelon Bohrer; four sisters, Grace Bohrer Hugenroth; Maxine Bohrer Andries; Evelyn Bohrer Lott and Lester Mae Bohrer Bordelon.

She is survived and lovingly mourned by her sons, Ronnie Caesar and his wife, Susan of Marietta, Georgia and Maxie Caesar of Alexandria; one sister Louise Bohrer Brisbois and her husband, Herbert of Alexandria; grandchildren, Bradley Caesar of Florida; Gavin Caesar of Indiana; stepdaughter, Kathy Klein Weaver and her husband, Steve of Coleman, Florida; step granddaughter, Heather Klein of Tennessee and several nieces and nephews.
