Uncle Eddie was the son of Loyal E. McCummins Sr. and Eva Harclerode McCummins. He was married to Marjorie Wright. They had one son and two daughters who are still living. Eddie was a cook on a Navy ship during World War II. His shipmates called him: "Cookie". After the war, Eddie worked as a janitor in schools in California. He is greatly missed by his family.
