He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and Uniontown VFW. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from Island Creek Coal Co. after 39 and a half years.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Dunn; two sons, Jimmy Dunn of Morganfield and Benji Dunn of Henderson; three stepchildren, Kathy Sutton of Madisonville, Steve Utley of Waverly and Gary Utley of Morganfield; four sisters, Imogene Linton of California, Shirley Carley and Kay Sheffer, both of Uniontown, and Reci Corsey of Garfield Heights, Ohio; one brother Roy Dunn of Morganfield; two grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and seven stepgreat-grandchildren.
