Darthy Ifbell Nations of Colleyville, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2007, in Lewisville.

She was born April 22, 1924, in Winchester, Tennessee, to James Franklin Ifbell and Susan Enzena Smith. On January 22, 1953, she married Manton Alonzo Nations in South Texas. Mrs. Nations was an excellent seamstress, wonderful cook, avid reader and a competitive 42 player. She also was s Sunday school teacher for over 50 years, ministered to countless people, loved and prayed for her family always. She had great devotion to hr husband Matt and will be remembered as a woman who served the Lore Jesus Christ for a lifetime.

Darthy was preceded in death by her parents and two children, Susan Ophelia Nations and Manton Franklin Nations.

Darthy is survived by her husband Manton Alonzo Nations; daughter, Mary Ann Nations Davis and husband Gary all of Colleyville; daughter-in-law, Sharon Nations of Southlake; grandchildren, James and wife Autumn Davis of Frisco, Elizabeth and husband Ryan Miller of Lompoc, California, Lydia Nations Matthew Nations and Will Nations all of Southlake and great-grandson, Ryder Kale Miller.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 15, at the Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown. Burial followed at Berry Creek Cemetery in Williamson County. [Published 19 Sep 2007 in The Williamson County Sun, Georgetown, TX]
