MARION: Eunice E. Lee (Wells), Marion, 68, resident of Marion Rotary Towers, died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, July 10, 2010. She was born on January 27, 1942 in Jackson, Michigan. She was the daughter of the late Fred Lee Wells and Gladys Lulie (Mabery) Wells.
On December 25, 1963, she married John B. Lee who preceded her in death. A lifetime church member, she enjoyed all aspects of her religious families. She not only was a homemaker, but also she enhanced her life and many others lives with her volunteering spirit and work in healthcare as a nursing assistant among other endeavors.
She is survived by four children, a son, Raymond (Michelle) Burkhard of Poulsbo, WA; three daughters, Vicki Thompson (Timothy W.) of Marion, Sarah Lee of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Mary (Brian) Franz of Columbus; nine grandchildren, Alicia, Kellie, Tim, John, Jennifer, Kyle, Ryan, Lauren and Sean; five great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Lee Koontz of WA, Elizabeth Koch of NV, Linda Abeyta of NV and Martha Shape; She was preceded in death by her brothers John, Denver and William.
A celebration of life will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors Friday, July 16, 2010. We will meet at the cemetery for a graveside service also held on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in Marion Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the paralyzed Veterans of America.
