September, 1944 - Funeral services for Clarence Lee Ayton, who died Monday at his home in Gaithersburg, were held Wednesday from his late home. Pentalpha Lodge of Masons, No 194 conducted services at graveside. The Rev. A. W. Ewell and the Rev. James P. Kerr officiated. Interment was in Forest Oak Cemetery. Mr. Ayton is survived by his wife Eva Ayton; one son Hershey D. Ayton; a daughter, Mrs. Edwin R. Kinsey; one grandson, two sisters and two brothers.
Clarence married Eva Dutrow in Baltimore, Maryland in April 1901.
