Death of John Aull
John Aull died Sunday afternoon about 1 o'clock at his home south of town, after an illness of several weeks. He suffered a stroke of paralysis about a week ago which was the cause of his death.
Mr. Aull was a son of the late John and Mary E. Aull, and was born in Lexington, July 9, 1855. His whole life was spent in this vicinity where he had a wide acquaintance, and enjoyed the esteem of them all. He was engaged in farming and live stock raising and was very successful at both.
Mr. Aull is survived by four brothers and three sisters, as follows: Wm. Aull, Sr., James, Edward, W.P., Mrs. Alex. Graves and Miss Virginia J. Aull, of Lexington, and Mrs. S.P. Silver, Mercedes, Texas.
The funeral services conducted by Rev. R.L. Cowan, were held at the home Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
