Lawrence Franklin Stuckey of Prattsville, Arkansas was born February 14, 1917 in Prattsville, the son of the late Arthur Lonnie and Benjamin Kizzie Reynolds Stuckey.

He was a retired Timber Cruiser for International Paper Company and a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville. He loved to read and spend time gardening.

Mr. Stuckey died Monday, September 17, 2012 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton at the age of 95.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Hilda Ashley and Helen Smith.

Survivors: Wife of 69 years, Natha Lee Shoptaw Stuckey of Prattsville; Sons, Anthony "Tony" Stuckey of Little Rock; Tim and wife Brenda Stuckey of Sheridan; Brother, J .L. and wife Lorena Stuckey of Sheridan; Grandchildren, Jeremy and wife Amy Stuckey, Hayden and her mother Peggy Stuckey, 2 great grandchildren, Kyler and Kynlee Stuckey; Caregiver, Cheryl Burnett, and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Don Goodman officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
