Herman Jesse Brown, 61, of 2576 Locksley Drive, died Thursday in a Macon hospital after a short illness. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Maddox Funeral Home in LaGrange. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens in La Grange.
Mr. Brown, a native of Randolph, Ala., had lived in Macon since 1960. He was a machinist with the Arm strong Cork Co., a Baptist and a member of Masonic Lodge No. 28 in LaGrange.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lillian Tommie Wingo Brown of Macon; a son, Gary R. Brown of Macon; a daughter, Mrs. Sharron Allen of Anniston, Ala.; six sisters, Mrs. Georgia Brown, Mrs. Eula Mae Webb, Mrs. Dora Bannister, Mrs. Clara Morman, all of LaGrange, Mrs. Florine Brady of Lineville, Ala., and Mrs. Bessie Brown Roanoke of Alabama.
The body will be placed in Hart's Mortuary until 2 p.m. Saturday.
