WALLINGFORD - Raymond S Adams, 90, passed away Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, with family by his side.

Ray was born on April 3,1922, in Solon, Maine to Herbert Sr., and Margery Adams. He was predeceased by his wife, Virginia; his son, David; and siblings, Lula, Albre, Jerome and Arthur Adams, Carolyn Bridges and his recently deceased brother, Herbert Adams Jr.

His family, Sheila LePage, Elise Czaja, Elaine Adams; thirteen grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter will always miss him. Ray proudly served in the U.S. Navy Seabees during World War II and had several successful careers in home, bridge construction and real estate.

The Adams' family would like to thank the staff of Regency House of Wallingford for the caring support they gave Ray and Ginny Adams. A special thanks to Debbie Edwards, for her undying support and thanks to Hospice team Jean Morris, Kim Doerfler, and Lauren Polito for loving care given Mr. and Mrs. Adams the last year and a half year.

Memorial service is Saturday, Oct. 27, 11 a.m. Center Congregational Church, 474 Broad St., Meriden, (203) 235-1389. Donations may be sent to Masonicare Charity Foundation, 74 Cheshire Road, Wallingford, CT 06492.
