79, died Wednesday at Rush County
Memorial Hospital at La Crosse.
Born Rachel Ella Beltz March 16, 1901, in
Rush County,
She married Milton R. Miller Sept. 24, 1920,
at Kansas City, Kan.
She was a cook at La Crosse
School and nurses aid and lived in the
La Crosse area all of her life.
She was a member of United Methodist
Church, La Crosse; charter
member of Lone Star Club, Bison.
Survivors: widower of the home;
sons: Virgel, Bison; Everett, Concordia;
daughters: Mrs. Elila Newton,
Tulsa, Okla.; Mrs. Darlene Burke,
Mrs. Ramona Gunn, both of Wichita;
brother: Theadore Beltz, College
Place, Wash.; sisters: Mrs. Martha
Miller, Denver Colo.; Mrs. Viola
Franklin, Garnett; 13 grandchildren;
two great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday
at the church; the Rev. Henry Murray.
Burial will be at La Crosse Cemetery.
