The Daily Notes, Canonsburg PA, Monday 30 June 1952, page 8 - FRANK M. ROACH, 85, Venetia, R. D. 1; died at 10:25 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 1952, at the Mercy Hospital Pittsburgh, following an illness of 15 years. Born in Clifton on March 4, 1867, Mr. Roach was a son of the late THOMAS and EVELYN HERRIOTT ROACH. He spent his entire life in Peters Township and was a carpenter by trade. Mr. Roach was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church, of which he had formerly been Sabbath School Superintendent for 15 years. He was also a former teacher of the Frank M. Roach Bible Class. His wife, MARY BELLE CALDWELL ROACH, died August 29, 1943. Survivors include the following children: ADDA B. ROACH, at home; LLOYD D. ROACH, Canonsburg; BOYD C. and R. JOHNSTON ROACH, both of Venetia, R. D. 1; also four grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Hinton and Griffith Funeral Home where services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in charge of his pastor, Rev. J. Rogers. Burial will be in Center Church Cemetery.
