On March 18, 2004, Ida Cordova Cambron of West Jordan, UT passed away surrounded by her family.
She was born to Sofia and Tranquilino Cordova on April 3, 1921 in Chamisal, NM. On April 3, 1953 she and Glennon Cambron married and were together for 51 years.
Ida was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers. She is survived by her husband Glennon, two daughters: Linda (Mike) Gonzales, Midvale, UT and Maria Ruiz, Albuquerque, NM; nine granddaughters: Marie Elena, Anita, Bernadette, Sophia, Guadalupe, Glenette, Elizabeth, Barbara, and Brooke; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. She is also survived by three sisters: Neva Marquez, Las Vegas, NM, Frances Armijo (James) Westminster, CO, Connie Duran (Raymond) West Jordan, UT; brothers: Fidolino (Mary) Kearns, UT, Joe (Frances) Tooele, UT, Ernesto (Tillie) Kearns, UT, Tranquilino Jr., Chamisal, NM, and Roy (Helen), Kearns, UT, special sister-in-law, Marie (Cletus) Chandler, Jackson, MO.
The family would sincerely like to give their heartfelt thanks to CareSource and staff. The generous family that decided to build this wonderful facility was a Godsend. Thank you for all the love, tenderness and care you gave Ida. May God bless you all.
A funeral mass will be held Monday, March 22, 2004, 11 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker, 7405 S. Redwood Rd. A viewing will be held at St. Joseph the Worker on Sunday, March 21, 2004 6-8 p.m. with Rosary at 8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to the mass. Funeral directors Larkin Sunset Gardens. Interment Redwood Memorial Estates.
