George W Hall married Meldy Lou Burns, December 21, 1896 in Colbert County Alabama. He was a miller in a grist mill. He is buried in Sally Burns Cemetery next to his wife Meldy. His grave is marked only by the faded and rusted funeral home plaque.

George is the son of John and Louisa (nee Cochran) Hall, and brother to Selah Hall who married Newton Burns. Newton Burns is the brother of Melda Lou (nee Hall) Burns.

George and Melda moved, with their son Albert, from the Rock Creek Community of Colbert County, AL across the state line into Tishomingo County, MS sometime before the 1930 Federal Census was enumerated on April 16, 1930. They were at that site briefly before moving into the Fairview Community of Itawamba County, MS where George died in 1934.
