ERNEST FICKLIN DIES AT HOME NEAR HUNTSVILLE
Ernest William Ficklin, 61, who had been ill for the past year, died this morning at 5:30 at his home north of Huntsville. He was a lifelong resident of the county and the son of the late James R. and Belle Ficklin. Mr. Ficklin was born and reared near Thomas Hill.
He is survived by his wife and two sons, Leroy Ficklin, St. Louis and J. W. Ficklin of St. Charles; a daughter, Mrs. W. E. Morlan Vandalia; and a sister, Mrs. Geo. Jackson of Columbia.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at the Thomas Hill Baptist Church at 2 o'clock and will be conducted by the Rev. Roy Heifner of Moberly. Burial will be in the Thomas Hill cemetery.
