Elsie was born in DeWitt, Texas on April 9, 1913 and went home on July 22, 2009. She is survived by her children; Nellie Highet, Nonie (Gordon Vig), Melvina (Joe Maruslea), Gerrit (Connie), Sheryl (Don Carlson); numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband George in 1954; siblings and a granddaughter. Elsie's family would like to extend many thanks to Sylvan Lake Lodge and Bethany Care Center for the extremely excellent care over the last twenty years
