He was born in Faubush, Nov. 2, 1919, son of the late Wilcie Asberry and Ollie Frances Foster Wright. He was a farmer and member of Old Fashioned Faith Baptist Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Leland Wright, Somerset, and Lowern Wright, Lexington; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Emmett Wright.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Herald Wright officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
