Alice Edwards Hart, 99, of McComb, passed away, Sunday, December 21, 2014 at McComb Nursing and Rehab. She was born January 24, 1915 in Copiah County, the daughter of James D. and Nancy Granberry Edwards. She was a longtime member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, W.L. Hart; two brothers and sisters-in-law, J. Frank Edwards and Cooper P. Edwards; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Cora Sallie Edwards, Maggie E. Crowder, Susie E. Spear and Hazel E. Lewis, and a nephew, Daniel L. Edwards.

She is survived by her two daughters, Virginia H. Zeigler of McComb and Madolyn H. Terrell and husband, George of Liberty; two grandchildren and their spouses, Jamie and Stephania Zeigler of Hattiesburg and Misty and Scott Springstead of New Roads, LA; six great-grandchildren, Hayden Zeigler, Chandler Zeigler, Will Zeigler, Brynlee Zeigler, Mackenzie Springstead and Madelyn Springstead; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 2:30PM in Hollywood cemetery with Dr. David Millican officiating. Catchings Funeral Home in McComb is in charge of arrangements.
