Tina Barnhart Rodgers, 76, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, at her home in Denham Springs. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She also served and provided care for her community for years as a nurse. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Thursday, Oct. 21, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation will resume Friday, Oct. 22, from 8 a.m. until service at 10 a.m., officiated by the Rev. Lee McNaughton. Burial will be in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. Survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Deborah M. Baker, and Jennifer and Mark Turk; four sons, Marion Dean "Butch" Rodgers III and his wife, Cindy, Mark A. Rodgers, John Michael "Mike" Rodgers and Patrick W. Rodgers; six grandchildren and their spouses, Tina and Jessie Purvis, Charlie and Susan Turk, Justin and Megan Rodgers, Ethan and Suzannah Turk, Joshua Rodgers and Katelin Rodgers; and six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Marion D. Rodgers Jr.; granddaughter, Brittany Baker; son-in-law, Rick Baker; and parents, Alvin and Grace McNaughton Barnhart.
