Danny Ray Adams , 58, of St. Joseph, died Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, at the local hospital.
He was born Sept. 20, 1948, in St. Joseph and lived here all of his life, the last 15 years of which he was an attorney. Danny graduated from Central High School and had a bachelor's degree, two master's degrees and many post graduate hours in law school.
He was a member of New Home Baptist Church.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Thelma and Walter S. Adams Sr.; two brothers, Walters S. Adams Jr. and Gene Adams ; and a sister, Rosa Adams .
He is survived by two brothers, Jerry Adams , and his wife, Lucy, St. Joseph; and John Adams , and his wife, Jude, Kansas City, Mo.; sister, Judy Carter, Hiawatha, Kan.; sister-in-law, Anna Adams , Sterling, Colo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Clark-Sampson Funeral Home, St. Joseph, with interment in Bethel Cemetery, DeKalb, Mo. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
