Fannie was one of four children of Mollie and Nathaniel Weinstein. Her sister Pearl was married to the prominent NY muralist and artist, A.J. Bogdanove. Her sister Sara (Rosenbaum) owned a San Diego clothing store called Loretta's, with her husband Otto. Her daughter Ethel (Katkow) worked with Fannie and her husband Harry, who owned a clothing shop on 36th Street in Baltimore called "Fannette". Her son Daniel was a prominent Baltimore,MD oncologist.
