She was the daughter of Michael Joe Freeman of Boiling Springs, SC, and Vicki Lynn Cobb of Gaffney, SC. She attended Boiling Springs High School, where she was active in basketball and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are three brothers, Colt Freeman of Gaffney, SC; Cameron Freeman and Carson Freeman, both of Boiling Springs, SC; two sisters, Kendall Dawson of Gaffney, SC, and Cierra Freeman of Simpsonville, SC; maternal grandmother, Sylvia Cobb Worthy and husband, James of Cowpens, SC; paternal grandmother, Sue Nix of Boiling Springs, SC; maternal great-grandmother, Mildred Cobb; and several cousins, aunts and uncles.
