James J. Roberts, real-estate dealer here for 12 years, died at 10 a.m. yesterday (Sept 25, 1947) at the farm home of his sister, Mrs. Lena (G. D.) Fendley, near Frankfort. Roberts moved to Frankfort eight years ago after living here 40 years. (Jefferson Co)
He is survived also by two sisters, Mrs. Sara J (Henry) Oliver and Mrs. J. B. Elder, both of Louisville. Funeral will be held tomorrow at Frankfort with burial in Resthaven Cemetery here. CJ (9/26/1947)
