Louie was born on April 25, 1930 the son of Louie E. and Viola (Miller) Beuthin in rural Ripon. He attended the Center House School and on June 19th, 1954 he married Ruth Easley in Ripon. Louie served his country in the US Army, he was a Master Plumber for Green Lake Plumbing and Heating and then purchased the business, serving the Green Lake area for 45 years. He was a member of the Green Lake Federated Church, Green Lake Willis-Chapel American Legion Post #306, Green Lake Fire Dept. for 30 years retiring as Fire Chief, and was also a Boy Scout Master.

Survivors include his son, Alan (Pamela) Beuthin of Colgate, WI; daughter, Sherry (Charlie) Kinas of Germantown, WI; one granddaughter, Kara Kinas of Madison, WI; 5 brothers: Gilbert Beuthin of Princeton, David (Peggy) Beuthin of Ripon, Dennis (Jill) Beuthin of Ripon, Larry (Beth) Beuthin of Fairwater, Gerald "Corky" (Peggy) Beuthin of Berlin; one sister, Betty (David) Kuen of Neenah; sisters-in-law: Janet and Joan Beuthin both of Green Lake; and several nieces and nephews. Louie was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ruth on April 20, 2001, three brothers, Ervin, Darwin and Vernon.
