Dennis D. Clow, 60, and Monica A. Clow, 57, both of Monmouth, passed away together on August 27, 2012 near Jackson, TN.
Dennis was born December 19, 1951 in Lancaster, MN, and Monica was born August 19, 1955 in Bismarck, ND. They were married May 24, 1975 in Wing, ND, and had two daughters, Lori Seals of Monmouth, and Shanna Bedford of Texarkana, TX. They were also the proud and loving grandparents of three grandchildren: George and Meadow Seals of Monmouth, and Charlotte Bedford of Texarkana, TX.
Dennis graduated from Mayville State University in Mayville, ND with degrees in choir and band and went on to teach music, coach basketball, and work as a high school principal in North Dakota, California and Texas. Monica taught special education courses and served as the manager of a board and care facility in Saint Helena, CA.
For the past fifteen years, Dennis and Monica worked together as a professional truck driving team, and enjoyed the unique sights, sounds, and experiences that their career provided. During their time off the road, they took great joy in spending as much time as possible with their children and grandchildren. They remained fascinated by life, and felt blessed that they were able to spend so much of it together.
In addition to their daughters and grandchildren, Dennis and Monica are survived by a son-in-law, Dr. Jason Seals of Monmouth, and Monica is survived by her mother, Anna Mae Gray of Wing, ND, two sisters, Connie Dockter of Menoken, ND and Pam Geiger of Mandan, ND, and two brothers, Russell Folmer, Jr. of Wing, ND and David Folmer of Bismarck, ND. They are preceded in death by Monica's father, Rusell Folmer, and Dennis's parents, George and Minnie Clow.
Services: A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Warren County Memorial Park in Monmouth. There will be no visitation and cremation rites have been accorded.
