Obituary - Charlotte F. (Millhouse) Hepfer, age 90, previously of 5141 Wayne Road, Chamberbsurg, died Tuesday morning in Magnolias of Chambersburg.

Born January 17, 1915 in Mount Rock, Southampton Township, Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Albert R. and Lulu Belle Cook Millhouse. She was a 1932 graduate of Shippensburg High School and a 1959 graduate of the Chambersburg School of Practical Nursing. She is a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Scotland, PA.

Her husband of 40 years, J. Ralph Hepfer, passed away on Sept. 21, 1988. Together they operated Hepfer's Store in New Franklin from 1947-53. In her career as a nurse she worked at the Chambersburg Hospital and later the South Mountain Restoration Center until her retirement.

She is survived by five children, Mrs. Herb (Charlotte A. Hollar) Metz of Fayetteville, Mrs. Rich (Jean L. Hollar) Wormer of Harrisburg, Leroy E. (husband of Joyce) Hollar of Cambridge, Illinois, C. Lamar (husband of Nancy) Hollar of Chambersburg, and James R. (husband of Helen) Hepfer of Chambersburg. She also has 12 grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Virgil (Mildred) Long of Chambersburg; four brothers, C. Frank Millhouse of Chambersburg, Ross A. Millhouse of Fort Loudon, Clyde L. Millhouse of Pleasant Hall and Donald K. (Dick) Millhouse of Scotland, a former husband, Charles E. Hollar, Jr. of Florida and two grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Kelso-Cornelious Funeral Home, Ltd., 725 Norland Ave., Chambersburg, PA. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 31st at 2 PM at the funeral home with the Rev. Beth Lupolt officiating . The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday. Interment will be in Grindstone Hill Cemetery.
