The daughter of Henry Washington and Birdie Belinda (Lucas) Love, Virginia was born Aug. 23, 1921 in Claremore. Virginia attended Chelsea and Claremore schools. On Dec.22, 1937 she married Orvel James "Whitey" Robbins and they made their home in Foyil. Whitey died in 1968. On January 13, 1979 Virginia married Allen Holman. He died in 1991.

Virginia was a homemaker, and raised hogs and cattle on the family farm. Virginia served as an ordained minister and teacher at the church her family started in Foyil, Bethel Chapel. Her greatest ministry was praying for other people. Virginia loved her family and friends and enjoyed fishing. She loved being outdoors with nature and working in her garden.

Virginia was preceded in death by her two husbands, parents, sister Mary (Love) Casey, and brothers Clyde, Roy, and Jewell Love. Virginia is survived by her children: Thomas and Esther (daughter) Nickles of Claremore, James (son) and Barbara Robbins of Foyil, and Robert and Rosetta (daughter) Sperry of Foyil. She has 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.

Virginia died on Friday, April 16, 2010 at her daughter's home at the age of 88. Her funeral was held April 20, 2010 at The House of Prayer with Reverends Richard Hubbard, Ruben Griffin, and Cinty Robertson officiating. Her burial was held under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service.
