MEMPHIS, Tenn., -- Lucien F. Ackerman, 80, of 4463 Knight Arnold Road, died Monday at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.
A member of Temple Israel, he was a Mason and a member of the Scottish Rites.
Mr. Ackerman was the manager of the Harry Karl Shoe Store in Prescott, Ariz., for 24 years, and served as the assistant manager of Finkel's Store in Paducah for 22 years.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Eliza Goodman Ackerman; a brother, Alfred Ackerman of Waco, Texas, and a nephew, Gary Pagles.
Two sisters, Jean Ackerman and Lucy Ackerman, preceded him in death.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Temple Israel Cemetery. Alfred Ackerman will officiate.
Friends may call at Lindsey Funeral Home after 11 a.m. Thursday.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Arthritis Foundation.
